Some numbers:
- 108 meters away from a station stop and the other;
- 1900 the year of the inauguration (it worked for Water !!!!!:-o ... incredible but true!)
- 2 cabins (one goes down and the other salt);
- 6,000 passengers per day;
- 36 meters in altitude between the two stations;
- 1:30 minutes is enough time to make the journey;
- 06:00 to 00:45 hours of continuous operation;
- 35.2% the slope of the track;
- 60 people with the capacity of each cabin.
I recommend you use it up, of course, rather than make the 220 steps of the staircase that runs along the left (Rue Foyatier), or those of the garden of the Sacred Heart on the right: this is without a doubt recommend them down.
Unfortunately there is no correspondence between the Funicular and other public transport, so even if you came this far with a bus or the Metro validating a ticket + to use it is necessary to validate another team (unless you are in possession of ImaginR as a subscription or navigation).
To access them you must:
- get in the queue (the queue in holiday periods can also be quite substantial as there are hundreds of tourist groups to pensioners who need to take the middle);
- insert your ticket into the slot before passing the turnstile;
- revenue in the waiting area located between the two cabins;
- not just get people on board the car down the other side;
- opens the door to go up automatically as soon as all passengers were down earlier;
- Get on board;
- a display indicates with countdown the time remaining to the closure of the gates;
- the doors close and the cabin part;
- arrived at the top of the cab stops and opens the door to go down.
